Cybot and BlueBot This week we got to help Cybot get a present to his friend Bluebot 's birthday, by using the directions cards to get there. New command learned: Stop Using Stop we learned that a robot can stop for a while at a specific spot and then continue its normal journey. We used this command to guide the robots to find their friends. We learned that the robots are friends with CodeApillar and The Red Car from our previous stories and apps. This way the kids learn that most of the programmable devices have a common language to understand each other (coding). We introduced Cybot to our robot games and realized that Bluebot is different than Cybot ( One is faster ) . By working together we helped the robots get their friends the Red Car and CodeApillar.

Kart Coding We listened to the story of the car that couldn't start and Ana. An adventure of a sad car that felt he was useless because he couldn't start and have adventures like its friends the airplane, train and truck. Then the car met Ana who helped him start with the help ofthe key. We learned that having a key is essential to start any car, and also we got to practice sequences and directions with the Code Karts app. This app revolves around the idea of overcoming obstacles to win the race. It teaches the basics of sequencing, if-then statements, logical thinking and problem-solving skills through many levels of increasing difficulty. This game can be played to practice the sequences and commands like Forward, Left and Right.

October 9 The CodeApillar This week we've worked on following sequences with the help of our number's carpet and playing the hungry caterpillar Game(Codeapillar). The aim of this lesson was to understand how to follow a sequence of commands to get to the goal (star). Firstly, by being the caterpillar with our caterpillar crown and then by playing the game on the tablets. Directions practiced: Forward Backwards Turn there (left, right)
